HOMEMADE PECAN PIE

INGREDIENTS

1 CUP CORN SYRUP

3 EGGS

1 CUP OF GRANULATED SUGAR

2 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER (MELTED)

1 TEASPOON OF VANILLA EXTRACT

2 CUPS OF PECANS (CHOPPED)

1 PIE CRUST

1/2 CUP OF PECANS (HALVED)

INSTRUCTIONS

PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350 DEGREES F.

IN A LARGE BOWL – COMBINE THE CORN SYRUP, EGGS, SUGAR, BUTTER, AND VANILLA EXTRACT.

STIR IN THE CHOPPED PECANS & POUR THE MIXTURE INTO THE PIE CRUST.

ADD THE HALVED PECANS OVER THE TOP OF THE MIXTURE (EVENLY COATING THE TOP OF THE PIE.)

BAKE ON THE CENTER RACK OF THE OVEN FOR 50-55 MINUTES.

COOL FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS – ON A WIRE RACK.

SERVE (WITH COOL WHIP ON TOP – IF DESIRED) & ENJOY!
