Extra crispy, tender AND juicy?! This easy Parmesan Crusted turkey cutlet recipe is quick, simple & tasty!
Parmesan Turkey Cutlet
Ingredients
3 Plainville Farms Turkey cutlets
2 eggs (beaten)
3/4 cup of flour
Salt & pepper (to taste)
1/2 cup of Italian breadcrumbs
1 cup of parmesan cheese (finely grated)
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 cup of olive oil
Sliced mozzarella
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and grease a baking dish.
2. Place flour, and salt and pepper in one dish & whisk the eggs into another.
3. Mix in a third of the breadcrumbs, parmesan, onion powder, and garlic powder.
4. Pound out the 6 turkey cutlets between sheets of waxed paper until flat.
5. Heat the olive oil in a skillet.
6. Dip the turkey - first in the flour, then the egg mixture, and lastly into the breadcrumbs.
7. Fry the turkey cutlets in batches of olive oil until golden and cooked through (the internal temperature should reach at least 165°F.
8. Salt slightly when finished.
9. Place on a baking sheet - top with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
10. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
11. You can finish under the broiler for a few minutes to get the cheese slightly golden.
12. Serve & enjoy!
