CALIFORNIA STYLE AVOCADO TURKEY BURGER
Serves 6 people
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- ⅛ tsp. black pepper
- 1 whole tomato, 6 slices
- 6 brioche slider buns
- 1 medium avocado
- 1 Butter/bibb Lettuce head
Directions
- In a medium bowl, mix together ground turkey, mayonnaise, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper, just until combined, being careful to not over mix.
- Divide mixture into 6 pieces and shape each piece into a patty shape, about 3 inches in diameter. Make an indent in the middle with fingers to help prevent meat from puffing up in the center and place on a plate or small tray. Transfer plate to freezer for 5 minutes to help firm up the patties.
- Heat grill over medium high heat and grill sliders for about 3-4 minutes per side, until burgers reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Let rest for about 5 minutes.
- Place burger on bottom slider bun and top with sliced avocado, lettuce leaf, sliced tomato, and top of bun.
