Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- 1 pound Plainville Farms Ground Turkey
- 1 cup long grain white rice (uncooked)
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 6 bell peppers
- 2 (8 oz) cans of tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place the rice and water into a pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat – cover – and cook for 20 minutes.
- In a skillet – cook your Plainville Farms ground turkey over medium heat until browned. (Min 165°F)
- Cut off the tops of the bell peppers – clean out the seeds.
- Arrange the peppers in a baking dish with the hollowed sides faced up.
- In a bowl - combine the cooked rice, browned turkey, 1 can of tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each bell pepper to the top.
- In another bowl - mix the remaining tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Pour as a topping over the stuffed peppers.
- Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven – until the peppers are tender.
- Baste each pepper with sauce every 15 minutes to keep it moist.
