Seasoning ground turkey is a must when cooking. Leaner ratios of ground turkey are missing on the flavor boost from a higher fat content, so they need some extra help in the flavor department. So when cooking ground turkey make sure to at least add salt and pepper or other herbs and spices.

Always make sure your thermometer is at least 165 degrees F. The best method is to scoop some of your ground turkey into a small bowl and ensure your meat thermometer reaches 165 degrees F.
