Warehouse Associate
Basic Purpose
RF Scanning, Inventory, Building Pallets, Walkie Rider, Hand jacks and Occasional Forklift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Unload inbound materials from trailers at receiving dock utilizing appropriate PIT equipment.
2. Inspect all incoming product for damages and document any damages before releasing driver.
3. Transfer items to appropriate warehouse location.
4. Pull daily inventory as needed to service production requirements of the plant.
5. Review warehouse inventory by performing weekly inventory cycle counts.
6. Operate tow motor and hand jack.
7. Utilize computer software to scan and track inventory.
8. Process tracking labels in CAT2 for newly received inventory.
9. Maintain an organized, safe, clean and secure warehouse.
10. Ensure and participate in compliance measures to meet GMP, HACCP, SQF and federal standards related to food safety and quality guidelines.
11. Perform other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Mega International business objectives.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Ability to read and write English to understand packing slips and purchase orders.
Valid PIT license (hand jack, high reach, tow motor) and ability to operate safely according to Mega International training.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Must be able to work in temperature extremes (hot in warehouse, cold in plant)
Must be able to lift up to 40 – 60 lbs. frequently.
Should have some computer knowledge.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
