ONE PAN TURKEY AND SQUASH DINNER
Ingredients
2 SMALL BUTTERNUT SQUASH (CUT IN HALF & PREPPED)
8 TURKEY THIGHS OR 8 TURKEY LEGS (OR YOU COULD USE 4 THIGHS & 4 LEGS)
3 ½ TABLESPOONS OF MINCED GARLIC
3 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
SALT AND PEPPER (TO TASTE)
1 TEASPOON PAPRIKA
2-3 TWIGS OF THYME
Instructions
1. PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 375 DEGREES F. MAKE SURE THE BAKING RACK IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OVEN.
2. LINE A BAKING DISH WITH PARCHMENT PAPER.
3. IN A LARGE BOWL – COMBINE THE MINCED GARLIC, OLIVE OIL, SALT AND PEPPER, PAPRIKA, AND TYME.
4. PLACE THE TURKEY THIGHS/LEGS INTO THE BOWL & MIX MAKING SURE THE MEAT IS COATED EVENLY.
5. DUMP THE FREEZER BAG OUT INTO THE PREPARED BAKING DISH – MAKE SURE TO GET ALL THE EXTRAS OUT AS WELL.
6. BAKE FOR 1 HOUR – INCREASE THE TEMPERATURE TO 425 DEGREES F & THEN BAKE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 12-18 MINUTES UNTIL THE TURKEY IS GOLDEN IN COLOR (OR THE INTERNAL TEMPERATURE REACHES AT LEAST 165 DEGREES F.)
7. REMOVE FROM THE OVEN & SERVE WITH YOUR FAVORITE SIDES – ENJOY!
